2.191  And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. And fight not with them at the Inviolable Place of Worship until they first attack you there, but if they attack you (there) then slay them. Such is the reward of disbelievers.

2.193  And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah. But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrong-doers.

2.216  Warfare is ordained for you, though it is hateful unto you; but it may happen that ye hate a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that ye love a thing which is bad for you. Allah knoweth, ye know not.

2.217  They question thee (O Muhammad) with regard to warfare in the sacred month. Say: Warfare therein is a great (transgression), but to turn (men) from the way of Allah, and to disbelieve in Him and in the Inviolable Place of Worship, and to expel His people thence, is a greater with Allah; for persecution is worse than killing. And they will not cease from fighting against you till they have made you renegades from your religion, if they can. And whoso becometh a renegade and dieth in his disbelief: such are they whose works have fallen both in the world and the Hereafter. Such are rightful owners of the Fire: they will abide therein.

2.286 (...)give us victory over the disbelieving folk.

3.121 . And remember when thou settedst forth at daybreak from thy housefolk to assign to the believers their positions for the battle , Allah was Hearer , Knower .

3.12  Say (O Muhammad) unto those who disbelieve: Ye shall be overcome and gathered unto Hell, an evil resting-place.

3.120  If a lucky chance befall you, it is evil unto them, and if disaster strike you they rejoice thereat. But if ye persevere and keep from evil their guile will never harm you. Lo! Allah is Surrounding what they do.

3.127  That He may cut off a part of those who disbelieve, or overwhelm them so that they retire, frustrated.

4.74 . Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other . Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah , be he slain or be he victorious , on him We shall bestow a vast reward .

4.75 . How should ye not fight for the cause of Allah and of the feeble among men and of the women and the children who are crying : Our Lord! Bring us forth from out this town of which the people are oppressors! Oh , give us from Thy presence some protecting friend! Oh , give us from Thy presence some defender!

4.76 . Those who believe do battle for the cause of Allah ; and those who disbelieve do battle for the cause of idols . So fight the minions of the devil . Lo! the devil ' s strategy is ever weak .

4.94 O ye who believe! When ye go forth (to fight) in the way of Allah, be careful to discriminate, and say not unto one who offereth you peace: "Thou art not a believer," seeking the chance profits of this life (so that ye may despoil him). With Allah are plenteous spoils. Even thus (as he now is) were ye before; but Allah hath since then been gracious unto you. Therefore take care to discriminate. Allah is ever Informed of what ye do.

4.95 Those of the believers who sit still, other than those who have a (disabling) hurt, are not on an equality with those who strive in the way of Allah with their wealth and lives. Allah hath conferred on those who strive with their wealth and lives a rank above the sedentary. Unto each Allah hath promised good, but He hath bestowed on those who strive a great reward above the sedentary;

8.7 . And when Allah promised you one of the two bands ( of the enemy ) that it should be yours , and ye longed that other than the armed one might be yours . And Allah willed that He should cause the Truth to triumph by His words , and cut the root of the disbelievers ;

8.8 . That He might cause the Truth to triumph and bring vanity to naught , however much the guilty might oppose ;

8.12 . When thy Lord inspired the angels , ( saying : ) I am with you . So make those who believe stand firm . I will throw fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve . Then smite the necks and smite of them each finger .

8.19 . ( O Qureysh! ) If ye sought a judgment , now hath the judgment come unto you . And if ye cease ( from persecuting the believers ) it will be better for you , but if ye return ( to the attack ) We also shall return . And your host will avail you naught , however numerous it be , and ( know ) that Allah is with the believers ( in His guidance ) .

8.55 . Lo! the worst of beasts in Allah ' s sight are the ungrateful who will not believe ;

8.56 . Those of them with whom thou madest a treaty , and , then at every opportunity they break their treaty , and they keep not duty ( to Allah ) .

8.57 . If thou comest on them in the war , deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them , that haply they may remember .

8.58 . And if thou fearest treachery from any folk , then throw back to them ( their treaty ) fairly . Lo! Allah loveth not the treacherous .

8.59 . And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip ( Allah ' s purpose ) . Lo! they cannot escape .

8.60 . Make ready for them all thou canst of ( armed ) force and of horses tethered , that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy , and others beside them whom ye know not . Allah knoweth them . Whatsoever ye spend in the way of Allah it will be repaid to you in full , and ye will not be wronged .

9.5 . Then , when the sacred months have passed , slay the idolaters wherever ye find them , and take them ( captive ) , and besiege them , and prepare for them each ambush . But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor due , then leave their way free . Lo! Allah is Forgiving , Merciful .

9.14 Fight them! Allah will chastise them at your hands, and He will lay them low and give you victory over them, and He will heal the breasts of folk who are believers.

9.29 . Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day , and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger , and follow not the religion of truth , until they pay the tribute readily , being brought low .

9.36 (...)So wrong not yourselves in them. And wage war on all of the idolaters as they are waging war on all of you. And know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him).

9.41 . Go forth , light armed and heavy armed , and strive with your wealth and your lives in the way of Allah! That is best for you if ye but knew .

9.44 . Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day ask no leave of thee lest they should strive with their wealth and their lives . Allah is Aware of those who keep their duty ( unto Him ) .

9.73 . O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites ! Be harsh with them . Their ultimate abode is hell , a hapless journey ' s end .

9.81 . Those who were left behind rejoiced at sitting still behind the messenger of Allah , and were averse to striving with their wealth and their lives in Allah ' s way . And they said : Go not forth in the heat! Say : The heat of hell is more intense of heat , if they but understood .

9.86 . And when a surah is revealed ( which saith ) : Believe in Allah and strive along with His messenger , the men of wealth among them still ask leave of thee and say : Suffer us to be with those who sit ( at home )

9.88 . But the messenger and those who believe with him strive with their wealth and their lives . Such are they for whom are the good things . Such are they who are the successful .

9.90 And those among the wandering Arabs who had an excuse came in order that permission might be granted them. And those who lied to Allah and His messenger sat at home. A painful doom will fall on those of them who disbelieve.

9.111 Lo! Allah hath bought from the believers their lives and their wealth because the Garden will be theirs: they shall fight in the way of Allah and shall slay and be slain. It is a promise which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. Who fulfilleth His covenant better than Allah ? Rejoice then in your bargain that ye have made, for that is the supreme triumph.

9.123 . O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you , and let them find harshness in you , and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty ( unto Him ) .

33.26 . And He brought those of the People of the Scripture who supported them down from their strongholds , and cast panic into their hearts . Some ye slew , and ye made captive some .

33.27 . And He caused you to inherit their land and their houses and their wealth , and land ye have not trodden . Allah is Able to do all things .

33.50 . O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries , and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war (...)

33.60 . If the hypocrites , and those in whose hearts is a disease , and the alarmists in the city do not cease , We verify shall urge thee on against them , then they will be your neighbors in it but a little while .

33.61 . Accursed , they will be seized wherever found and slain with a ( fierce ) slaughter .

61.10  O ye who believe! When believing women come unto you as fugitives, examine them. Allah is Best Aware of their faith. Then, if ye know them for true believers, send them not back unto the disbelievers. They are not lawful for them (the disbelievers), nor are they (the disbelievers) lawful for them. And give them (the disbelievers) that which they have spent (upon them). And it is no sin for you to marry such women when ye have given them their dues. And hold not to the ties of disbelieving women; and ask for (the return of) that which ye have spent; and let them (the disbelievers) ask for that which they have spent. That is the judgment of Allah. He judgeth between you. Allah is Knower, Wise.

61.11  And if any of your wives have gone from you unto the disbelievers and afterward ye have your turn (of triumph), then give unto those whose wives have gone the like of that which they have spent, and keep your duty to Allah in Whom ye are believers.

61.12  O Prophet! If believing women come unto thee, taking oath of allegiance unto thee that they will ascribe no thing as partner unto Allah, and will neither steal nor commit adultery nor kill their children, nor produce any lie that they have devised between their hands and feet, nor disobey thee in what is right, then accept their allegiance and ask Allah to forgive them. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

61.13 O ye who believe! Be not friendly with a folk with whom Allah is wroth, (a folk) who have despaired of the Hereafter as the disbelievers despair of those who are in the graves.
